95% of all diets fail

I was reading a magazine title the other day, which said

“95% of all diets fail”

and I thought, what do you need to do, to be in that small 5% of success. Now I don’t’ know where the statistics came from, but it was interesting.

It reminded me of why I think they fail. I think most diets fail because they:

  • limit our portions
  • make us drink disgusting powder drinks
  • deprive ourselves of the many foods we enjoy
  • tell us what to eat and when to eat
  • make us pop a pill to stop us feeing hungry

surely this is the reason WHY there are so many Yo You dieters.

Funny, but what makes it worse, is that we ultimately get fed up with the restrictive eating and go back to our old comfortable ways we enjoy, every time!

While it is obvious that following a strict deprivation program (sorry I meant to say diet!) we will achieve (some) weight loss, but research shows that this weight loss is in terms of muscle and water rather than fat. You may weigh less on the scale, but it's not the kind of weight loss that can be sustained over the long-term. Which is why weight loss using hypnosis works.

You can successfully lose weight through hypnosis, as it has been scientifically proven that people can achieve effective, healthy weight loss, or would you rather continue with this cycle of failure? Why fail when you can achieve weight loss success using hypnosis?
